Russia: The most popular alcoholic drink among Russian men is beer
74% of Russian men take strong drinks. 63.1% of Russian men prefer beer, then goes vodka (51.9%), vine (24.8%), champagne (17%), cognac (11.1%) and low-alcoholic drinks (7.5%). The figurers were revealed by the Union of Russian Brewers.
62% of Russian women take strong drinks. Vine takes the first place among strong drinks (36.8%), then goes beer (33.8%), champagne (26.5%), vodka (24.4%), low-alcoholic drinks (9.3%) and cognac (7.3%).
